AEK SIJORNI AND AEK BADAK CAVE

The first impression is amazing… two large caves which lived by the bats. We can see the wonderful stalactite and stalagmite. Most of them are existed already, it is not far from the town just forty minutes by motor cycle.

Aek sijornih means : “pure water”. There are the small river and the small waterfall with limestone inside that we can see. Aek sijornih also the local destination to spend weekend and vacation in Padangsidimpuan.

  Kesan pertama melihat gua Aek Badak adalah “sungguh menakjubkan”,  gua tersebut ditinggali banyak kelelawar dan anda juga dapat menyaksikan megahnya  stalactite and stalagmite. Kebanyakan dari stalactite and stalagmite tersebut masih hidup. Gua tersebut tidak terlalu jauh dari pusat kota hanya 40 menit dengan mengendarai sepeda motor.

                            “Aek Sijornih” berarti sungai jernih,  sungai tersebut mengalir dari mata air pegunungan yang memiliki air terjun dengan batuan kapur di dalamnya. Aek Sijornih merupakan tujuan wisata local di kota Padangsidimpuan.

SIRERAK AND R.E.D WATERFALL

Height between 60-80 meters, access to this waterfall down the mountain in 60 degree slope and then climb the slippery rocks that represents the flow of the river from the waterfall. Natural conditions are still virgin and wild enough adrenaline. Many species of birds that we encounter also a tropical rain forest vegetation was diverse. To reach this waterfall takes a half hour from Marancar udik, while from padangsidimpuan to marancar need 45 minutes.

R.E.D waterfall is located 30 minutes from the waterfall sirerak because they still come at the same mountain, in the dry season we’ve just find small water from the top of water fall. About 40-50 meters high. Both of them located in Pancur batu, South Tapanuli, North Sumatra – Indonesia.

  Tinggi air terjun antara 60 – 70 meter, akses ke air terjun ini menuruni gunung di kemiringan 60 derajat kemudian mendaki bebatuan yang licin yang merupakan aliran sungai dari air terjun tersebut karena tidak ada jalan lain. Kondisi alam yang masih perawan dan liar cukup memacu adrenalin. Banyak spesies unggas yang kami jumpai juga vegetasi hutan hujan tropis yang beraneka ragam.  Untuk mencapai air terjun ini membutuhkan waktu satu setengah jam dari desa Poken Arba, sementara dari kota padangsidimpuan ke marancar membutuh kan waktu 45 menit .

               Air terjun R.E.D ini berjarak 30 menit dari air terjun sirerak karena masih berada di barisan gunung yang sama. Tingginya sekitar 40-50 meter. Air terjun R.E.D berada di di desa Marancar udik kabupaten tapanuli selatan sumatra utara – indonesia.

BLACK WATERFALL

Black waterfall is one of the unique waterfall in south tapanuli, its uniqueness lies in the water is brownish-black, caused the texture of the rocks around the waterfall is black. Then refract light into the water making a waterfall into a black color. During the trip to the waterfall, we will pass the large stones, which fight your adrenaline in stone river trek. During down the river we often see different species of fish in the river. The waterfall is located in Pardomuan, Sub Siais, South Tapanuli, Northern Sumatra – Indonesia.

  Air terjun siondop merupakan salah satu air yang unik ditapanuli selatan, keunikan nya terletak pada airnya yang berwarna hitam kecoklatan, yang diakibatkan oleh tekstur batu sekitar air tejun yang berwarna hitam, kemudian membiaskan cahayanya ke air sehingga menjadikan warna air terjun menjadi hitam. Selama perjalanan menuju air terjun ini, kita akan melewati batu-batu besar, yang akan memacu adrenalin. Selama menyusuri  aliran sungai kita sering melihat berbagai spesies ikan yang ada di sungai. LUBUK RAYA

Lubuk raya is an inactive volcano and  the Highest mount in South Tapanuli about 1828 Mdpl which located in Padang Julu north Sumatera- Indonesia. If we see the mount from middle of the town, Lubuk raya mount always covered by clouds but sometimes we can see the top in Sunny day. There are A lot of species of plants and birds. We can also find the tropical forest which the three covered by the moss in the top. You need 6 a half hours to reach the top of the mountain.

   Lubuk raya merupakan gunung api yang sudah tidak aktif lagi dan yang tertinggi di Tapanuli Selatan sekitar 1825 Mdpl. Pendakian ke Lubuk Raya dapat dilakukan dari dua jalur. Jalur utara dari Padang Julu dan jalur selatan dari Aek Sabaon, Tapanuli Selatan – Sumatera utara. Kalau kita lihat dari tengah kota, gunung Lubuk Raya selalu tertutupi oleh awan, tapi terkadang juga dapat terlihat puncak dari gunung tersebut sewaktu hari cerah. Disana juga banyak species hewan dan tanaman yang dapat kita temukan. Gunung lubuk raya juga berhutan tropis, di puncak  pepohonannya tertutupi oleh tumbuhan lumut. Butuh 6 ½ jam untuk tiba di puncak gunug lubuk raya.

HARITTE CRATER

Haritte crater is formed by volcanic eruptions Sibualbuali of several hundred years ago. The crater is approximately 20 meters in diameter, which is sulfur-containing substances. Water flow of sulfur from the crater of this intervention, energized people to then be used as general hot water bathing pool.  Haritte  Crater already entered the territory Sibualbuali nature reserve, so we find many species of birds, monkeys, and plants. On the way to go there we will see beautiful views of the Sipirok  city and  also you can drink  fresh drink  from palm sugar trees and to see the process of making property farmers around. The crater is located in Haritte, Sub Sipirok, South  Tapanuli, North Sumatra – Indonesia.

                Kawah Haritte merupakan kawah yang terbentuk akibat dari letusan gunung sibualbuali beberapa ratus tahun silam, kawah ini diameternya kurang lebih 20 meter, yang sangat mengandung zat belerang. aliran air campur belerang dari kawah ini, dialiri warga untuk kemudian dijadikan kolam Riemannian air panas umum. SILIMALIMA WATERFALL

          As the name implies Waterfalls silima-lima has five levels of waterfalls, from the peak height this waterfall reaches approximately 80 meters. To reach the waterfall, We must pass Marancar pristine forests, which are still inhabited by both wild species of flora and fauna, in lucky time we can see the endemic Sumatran Orang Utan species, during a trip to this waterfall, we can enjoy the fruits are sweet, and young coconut water mixed with palm sugar, as well as see the process of making palm sugar are still simple. Increased the value of this marancar exotic woods. The waterfall is located in Poken arba, Sub Marancar, South Tapanuli , North Sumatra, Indonesia.
